The death of Mrs. F. C. Morell of Derby Junction occurred suddenly at Miramichi Hospital on January 9, 1970.

Born Grace Elizabeth Jones on February 9, 1895 at Woodstock, she was daughter of the late Hon. Wendell P. Jones, KC, and Mrs. Grace (Jordan) Jones. On September 30, 1916 she married Fred C. Morell.

Mrs. Morell was a member of St. Andrews Anglican Church in Newcastle and during her earlier years was active in the church guild and the IODE. She was an avid bridge player.

She is survived by her husband, Fred C. Morell; three sons, Horace of Ottawa, Fred Jr. at home, and Capt. George Morell of North Bay; one daughter, Mrs. J. Robert Martin (Lois) of Chatham; 11 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. H. H. Richie of Fredericton, Mrs. C. H. Coll and Mrs. G. M. MacPhail of St. Lambert, Que., and Mrs. A. S. Hood of Westfield, New Jersey.
