Martinique Beach

Martinique Beach

The longest beach in Nova Scotia, Martinique Beach is a provincial park on the Atlantic Ocean about 45 minutes east of Halifax. There's little development near the beach and until recently many people seemed to be unaware of it. The sandy beach is several kilometers long with water temperature varying from cold to frigid. Parking is at one end of the beach where most people congregrate and so the far end is secluded.
